Should kids be allowed opposite gender change rooms?

Change rooms are a great way to send your kids mixed messages. We tell them to cover up and they only show the parts under their bathing suits to parents and doctors. Then we throw them into a woman’s (or mens) changeroom where other parents bring kids of the opposite sex – and we expect them to all of a sudden be okay with changing in front of a boy (or girl). It drives me nuts – personally. How do you handle the change room situation? And hey – we know it’s challenging when Dad has to take his girl to a class or Mom has to take her boy or boys. So how do you cope?
