I like to bust stigmas around marriage, menopause, marijuana and motherhood.

Not a fan of vaping or smoking a joint? A discreet way to reap the benefits of cannabis

My Dad is 75 and now that he has wrapped his head around the fact his daughter has tried weed and he can no longer ground me, he’s actually curious about the whole thing. Like me, he had the usual experience – got too high, ate the entire contents of the fridge and then got paranoid. It didn’t leave a great taste in his mouth – literally and figuratively. But I’d love to see him (and my Mom) reap the benefits of cannabis but without compromising their health. They are open to trying it but due to a health condition, they should not be taking any chances with vaping. It could complicate a current chest and lung condition. Between fear of taking too much and getting too high and the dislike for vaping or smoking, many are seeking another delivery option to enjoy cannabis.

The market has exploded with options and edibles are most recently to the rescue! But even edibles aren’t for everyone and we can’t always predict the dosage. While you can take CBD or lemon terpenes to help reduce the effect, once you’re on that train you’re going for the full ride!
In this episode I’m talking to Kristina Shea, SVP, Marketing & Communications at Rapid Dose Therapeutics (RDT). Rapid Dose Therapeutics, RDT, is a Canadian life sciences company which provides disruptive proprietary drug delivery technologies designed to improve patient outcomes.

Quick, Convenient, Precise, and Discreet™

Kristina is going to provide hope and share great news for those who don’t like the smell or taste of cannabis. RDT’s QuickStrip is a new delivery system. She’ll explain how it works and why it is a better option than smoking, vaping or edibles for some consumers. QuickStrip is just what many want from the experience – quick, convenient and precise. It’s a great delivery system for all ages but when it comes to CBD or THC – it’s a discreet and a more desirable way to consume.

No Smoke, No Smell, No Stigma

I have to personally say that I’m very aware the stigma around cannabis is still alive and well in Canada but with a strip like this, it has a less ‘stoner’ feel and makes it feel more legit.

Tune in and listen to our great conversation about dosing, delivery and a whole new way to experience and get the rewards cannabis.
