How screwing up leads to success
Were you raised to believe that failure was a bad thing? Did you grow up dreading making a mistake for fear of ridicule or punishment of some sort?
Screwing up is necessary
Failure is the greatest learning tool we have. Today we’re discussing why it’s important to embrace and approach failure as a necessary experience and not one to avoid at all costs. Watching our kids get hurt or fail is tough. But it’s necessary for them to see that when they fail, they learn. And the next time they try something, they have more and more tools to tackle a problem or situation.
Failure sets us up for success later in life.
So Julie was quoted in Jessica Lahey’s New York Time Bestseller, “The Gift of Failure” and we’re quite excited to give a copy of it away in this giveaway. How can you win it? Like us or Subscribe to us on Youtube and share a story of failure that was your greatest learning experience.
