What are women saying about weed?
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but cannabis has been a hot topic lately. Has the conversation really evolved or are we still up against the same fear and stigmas that existed pre-legalization? In this episode I am joined by someone who truly has her finger on the pulse of the conversations women are having around weed.
Gathering women to learn about cannabis
Aliza Sherman is the CEO of Ellementa. They host gatherings across North America to help women explore the health and wellness benefits of cannabis and CBD. Ellementa connects women to trusted experts, brands and products so they can explore options when it comes to pain relief, depression, mental health issues, to name a few.
So Aliza is definitely tapped in to what women are talking and thinking about. And it seems there is still a fair bit of apprehension around the topic as women slowly start to learn more and become more acclimatized to cannabis as a health and wellness remedy for a more balanced and healthy lifestyle.
It shows that we still have a long way to go in education and awareness and normalizing cannabis so that one day we can let our hair down and explore our options – judgment free.
There’s a book for that!
In June, Aliza, and Dr. Junella Chin have co-authored a much needed book – “Cannabis and CBD for Health & Wellness” – a safe, comprehensive and easy-to-use guide to cannabis and CBD and the many usages such as pain management, acute health issues such as insomnia, inflammation, depression, anxiety, stress and more.
Check here for your copy – but you have to wait til June!
